Juicy Antelope Meatloaf

This is one filling dinner and goes great with mac n' cheese or mashed potatoes! An easy recipe to just mix everything together and put in the oven.



  • 2 lb. ground antelope

  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup white onion, chopped

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • 1/4 cup pepper jack high temperature cheese

  • 1/4 cup cheddar high temperature cheese

  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce


  • 1/3 cup ketchup

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. ground mustard

  • Fried onions, optional


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. In a large bowl add antelope, onion mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, water, ketchup, Worcestershire and high temp cheese and mix all together.

  3. Grease the bottom and sides of a bread pan and place mixture in pan, make sure it is pressed tight and the top is flat.

  4. In a small bowl mix together ketchup, brown sugar and ground mustard for the sauce on top.

  5. Evenly spread sauce on top of meatloaf.

  6. Place pan in oven and cook for one hour.

  7. Once finished, allow to cool for ten minutes. Slice meatloaf and dish out.
